Been on several shoots recently working like a madman (I logged in 16 1/2 hours in one particular day) and off the social media stuff. Was nice to focus on pictures instead of looking at what other people are doing online.
I'm not sure what it is but it seems my camera had to be more exhausted than I was from the photo above. Maybe I have bad luck with Canon cameras as this is the third time the shutter gave out. No biggie though. That's what backup bodies are for while on the job. Since there were some jobs I just physically couldn't take on as some days I'd already be overbooked, I was glad to have been able to delegate some the work to my fellow photographer friends. Photography is a service job so instead of me leaving the client hanging, I figured it would be a win-win situation if I were to provide the service of coordinating another photographer to fill in for my absence.
Nice to be able to take a couple days off during the week before the work starts back up in a few days, and then finally getting back on plane again in two weeks time.
